Heuer Camaro #7220 Valjoux 72 Chronograph, Exotic Dial, Original Chrono Pushers and Crown Outstanding condition on this late 1960’s Heuer Camaro ref. #7220. This one is one of the best examples available, Anywhere! Plus this watch has never been polished. There are signs of its past life, but those are minor. I purchased it for its condition and originality. Take a good look at the case. It’s not perfect, but the finish is original and in outstanding condition. During service the case was disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned. No polishing or refinishing was done. The dial is even better then the case. Truly outstanding condition. This style dial is referred to by collectors as the “Exotic” because the Tachymeter outer register is dark grey and matches the sub-dials. With most of these 7220 the outer register is the same color as the rest of the dial. Making this version much more interesting to look at (at least I think so). The movement is of course the Valjoux 72. It is fully signed Heuer with the correct style chronograph bridge. Serviced, so it is running as good as it looks. We paired the watch with a heavy brown leather sports strap.
