Pascuali Puno | Organic Cotton & Alpaca

Puno is a beautifully soft yarn made from 70% GOTS-certified organic cotton and 30% fine alpaca. Both fibres come from Peru, where the yarn is also spun. I’ve added Puno to my shop because I was looking for exactly this kind of all-round yarn: natural, calm in its stitch definition, and at the same time wonderfully soft thanks to the alpaca content. It’s a yarn that blends effortlessly into many different projects while still bringing its own subtle depth. The combination of smooth cotton and fluffy alpaca creates an even yet lively fabric. It lets textures and simple stitch patterns shine in equal measure. Puno is a true all-season yarn that works beautifully for both knitting and crochet. What I especially love is its versatility: lightweight tops, shawls, scarves, or anything in between. It feels soft against the skin and can be worn directly next to the body.
