BULK OFF PLA Traffic Black 3D Filament Note – Recycled material (Off Black variant): This PLA Off Black – Bulk is produced from recycled material sourced from our own production process. As a result, the quality of the PLA is fully preserved and perfectly suitable for 3D printing. However, the color may vary slightly in shades of black (off black), depending on the composition of the recycled material per batch. Features of PLA 3D Filament: Biodegradable and environmentally friendly: PLA is made from renewable raw materials such as or sugarcane. It is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions, making it a more environmentally friendly option compared to petroleum-based plastics. Low melting temperature: PLA has a relatively low melting temperature (between 180°C and 220°C), making it easier to print on most 3D printers without the need for a heated print bed. This makes it ideal for use in home printers and educational settings. Good surface quality: Prints made with PLA have a glossy finish and can be very detailed, making it a popular choice for cosmetic prints and prototypes that require a good surface finish. Less warping: Warping (the curling of the print during cooling) is a common issue in 3D printing, but PLA tends to warp less compared to other materials like ABS. This makes it easier to print large and complex models without deformation. Scent: During printing, PLA emits a light, sweet scent, unlike the strong odors some other plastics can produce.
