This is one of our first two guitars from Singapore's Hozen Guitars. Handbuilt by a small team assembled by master luthier Ho Zen Yong, Hozen Guitars combine premium tonewoods with modern appointments. The Blue Label is Hozen's flagship range, showcasing all of the flagship features that Hozen Guitars boast, including a fan fret design, comfort arm bevel and Florentine cutaway. The Modified Dreadnought model was originally designed by the godfather of modern lutherie himself, Ervin Somogyi, and this MD is Hozen's take on that modern dreadnought design. This particular guitar has a gorgeous set of Madagascan Rosewood for the back and sides with a Swiss Moon Spruce top - a sensational modern tonewood pairing. It has Hozen's signature features including a soundport, arm bevel, fan fret neck and Florentine cutaway. The guitar is equipped with Gotoh 510 tuners and comes with Hozen's proprietary hard shell case.
