Victorian Orange Satin Glass Vase, Stunning Colour
Description An elegant Victorian orange Satin glass vase. The vase has a frilled top and an air trap design. This vase is a beautiful colour, the orange glow is amazing in bright light. First produced in the 1880's Satin Glass was very popular during the Victorian era. The glass was dipped in acid to give a dull, silky, matt finish. This was then either left blank, or decorated with enamelled designs, or coupled with an Air Trap design, such as diamond quilting, spots or herringbone. Condition The vase is in very good vintage condition. This is a very nice piece of Victorian satin glass.
