Falkenhöhe Cup

Original prewar cup from Falkenhöhe restaurant and hotel. The building has been around since the 17th century, but it was converted to a restaurant / guest house in 1896. Located in picturesque ore mountains in Saxony. The cup is marked Kaestner on the bottom; Kaestner did make porcelain for the Wehrmacht as well. The marking dates this cup to between 1920 and 1935. (This marking was first used in 1920. The O/Z stands for Oberhohndorf bei Zwickau and was dropped around 1935 when Oberhohndorf became part of the city of Zwickau). Overall good condition with some wear.
