Leeuwin Estate Margaret River 'Art Series' Chardonnay 2019

100% CHARDONNAY 2019 was an excellent vintage in the Margaret River region. 100% of the juice was barrel fermented in new French oak barriques and the lees stirred regularly. After 11 months in barrels, the various components were blended, fined, cold stabilized and bottled. Complex aromas of lime curd, white peach, pear skin, and nectarine, layered with star jasmine, ginger spice, toasted hazelnut, and flint. The Palate is Energetic, with lemon, pear, and white peach flavors balanced by a distinct minerality and fine-grained texture. 13.5% ABV 98 points- Robert Parker
