GKH Soft Rope Loping Hackamore

GKH Soft Rope Loping Hackamore Designed to offer simple, consistent communication, our GKH Soft Rope Loping Hackamore is a straightforward bitless option for riders who prefer a direct feel without pressure on the horse's mouth. Made from a single length of professional double-braid rope, it works through a side-pull action on the nose, with the fiador helping to stabilise the noseband over the poll. Rein pressure is applied directly and released as soon as the reins soften, allowing for clear, uncomplicated signals. Unlike mechanical hackamores, the GKH Soft Rope Loping Hackamore has no shanks or curb action, making it a practical choice for everyday riding when fitted and used correctly. Suitable for: • Horses working bitless full-time or temporarily • Young horses during dental changes • Horses sensitive in the mouth • Schooling, groundwork, and general riding where a direct bitless option is appropriate Available sizes (measured around the noseband): • 24–26" – Cob / Standard / Quarter Horse – Available with 10ft Complete Reins or 8ft Split Reins • 27–29" – Full Size – Available with 10ft Complete Reins or 8ft Split Reins Split Reins are finished with leather poppers for added balance and feel. Measuring Guide: Measure the circumference of your horse's nose approximately 2–4 fingers below the cheekbone, where you would like the noseband to sit, then add 2" to determine the size required.
