A reflection of monumental wooden doors found throughout Mexico’s historic architecture. Reimagined as a modern surface defined by structure, rhythm, and material presence. Inspired by the monumental doors of colonial Mexico, the Sagrado panel fuses charred solid ash squares and solid copper medallion inlays in a rhythmic grid that evokes craftsmanship, culture, and contemporary elegance. The copper inlays serve as a modern homage to the traditional clavos, the decorative metal studs once used to fortify and adorn monumental doors across regions like Pátzcuaro and Oaxaca.
