PIN–UP HOME’S KASU COLLECTION, A SET OF FOUR VASES DESIGNED BY BELGIAN ARCHITECT AND DESIGNER BERNARD DUBOIS FOR PIN–UP HOME AND PRODUCED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BITOSSI. Dubois’s design for the KASU Collection brings together the cool rigor of industrial typologies and the timeless presence of ancient vessels. Drawing on the silhouettes of Belgian châteaux d’eau, or water towers, the four vases transform an industrial archetype into objects of material richness. KASU 04 features a triangular vessel form with a faceted vertical body, framed by raised ceramic studs at the top and base. The central section is finished with a fine hand-impressed surface, creating a subtle contrast between patterned texture and sculptural relief. Glazed in a deep bronze-brown tone, the vase emphasizes the tension between sharp geometry and the irregular richness of hand-worked ceramic. Handmade in Italy by Bitossi artisans, the piece translates Bernard Dubois’s industrial references into an object of tactile precision and quiet monumentality.
