Roving South - Hand Dyed Polwarth

Paddock Sundown is my ongoing collection of hand dyed fibres and yarns, capturing the shifting light over the paddocks – ember skies, long shadows and quiet ground. This listing is for 100 g of Polwarth combed top in the colourways. Dyed using colourfast acid dyes inspired by the sunset view from my windows and the front paddock. Polwarth gives you the handle of merino with a staple length that spins smoothly and is new spinner friendly. This single source fibre has been grown by Fairview Polwarth located in Barongarook,Victoria, processed by Cashmere Connections and hand dyed in Mole Creek, which means this fibre is fully traceable.
