Neo Primitive Bench 02

Neo-Primitive is an object that materializes the uniqueness of trees by aluminum casting. It consists of a bench, chairs and lighting that are creatively carved using natural elements such as branches, twigs and a tree trunk. The elements are sand-casted into aluminum versions, while preserving their shapes. The results have traces of wood in nature as itself, but are made of aluminum, which gives a paradoxical and mysterious atmosphere. This result shows an ambiguous relationship between primality and modernity, and the boundary between nature and artifacts.
