Paper DJ has separation of flaps: rear flap is tucked into back pages, front jacket flap taped to verso with a small newspaper clipping also taped to verso; elsewhere, paper loss & chipping to jacket spine (pictured), old tape on front & back, one line of french writing on the interior of back cover; smudging & general wear present on wraps, prior owner's name on flyleaf with another small, taped-on newspaper clipping, bookstore stamp from the Left Bank in Paris at bottom; infrequent tanning to a few pages from newspaper clippings; binding good, text unmarked. A nice copy of Genet's novel which precedes the Traveler's Companion edition from 1954.
