Spain and Portugal share a peninsula, a long history and an obsession with good food and wine. Yet despite being neighbours, the wines of Iberia are wonderfully diverse, shaped by everything from Atlantic sea breezes and mountainous vineyards to scorching inland plains and ancient winemaking traditions. Join Henry as he takes us on a journey across the Iberian Peninsula, exploring six wines that showcase the incredible variety found across Spain and Portugal. From crisp coastal whites and vibrant indigenous grape varieties to rich, characterful reds, we'll discover why this corner of Europe continues to produce some of the most exciting and best value wines in the world. Along the way we'll uncover some of the regions, grapes and stories that make Iberian wine so fascinating, while hopefully finding a few new favourites for your summer drinking list.
