Most isolation products work from the outside in — pads, cones, platforms that try to catch vibration before it reaches your component. The HRS Vortex works from the chassis out. The Vortex is designed to be placed in direct contact with the chassis, not under existing component feet. HRS's research showed that a significant portion of resonance enters through the chassis surface itself — not just through the rack. The Vortex addresses that. A patented gimbal mechanism makes full contact with the chassis regardless of surface angle, and two custom HRS materials handle the work from there: one couples to the chassis interface, one dissipates the energy. Non-magnetic stainless steel housing. No coloration from the enclosure itself. The set covers components with a footprint of 150 square inches or more — three fixed units and one adjustable to account for chassis level variation.
