Based on examples from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Augusta Auctions, fashion plates and the 1995 film of Sense and Sensibility. This two-tone weave bonnet is made with a high brim for the higher hairstyles of the Regency Period. Straw bonnets are comfortable for summer as they are lightweight and allow for airflow.
