Monte Della Guardia Chardonnay Garda DOC 2021 - Ca'Lojera

Monte della Guardia Garda DOC 2021 by Ca'Lojera is a red Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the moraine hills of Ponti sul Mincio, on soils of sand, clay, and gravel. Manual harvesting in late September, a five-day pre-fermentation maceration, and temperature-controlled fermentation create an intense yet balanced profile. A year's aging, 60% in stainless steel and 40% in barrique, followed by at least one year in the bottle, lends balance and depth. Ripe fruit, berries, pepper, and a light balsamic note emerge on the nose. On the palate, it is structured, with enveloping tannins and good flavor continuity. A solid and well-finished Garda red, born from a hill that defines its name and identity.
