“Hachi” is Japanese for eight, while “Orenji” translates to orange — a bold nod to the vibrant details found throughout the Swatch x Audemars Piguet Bioceramic Royal Pop “Orenji Hachi” (SSX03L103N). Part of the eight-piece Royal Pop collection, each release is named after the word “eight” in a different language and features the iconic eight exposed hexagonal screws inspired by the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak bezel. The “Orenji Hachi” combines a navy blue Bioceramic case with a matching octagonal bezel and crown, contrasted by striking orange satin-finished screws. Its Grande Tapisserie dial features Grade A Super-LumiNova hands and hour markers with blue light emission, protected beneath a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Powering the piece is the first-ever hand-wound Sistem51 movement, upgraded with a Nivachron hairspring, 90-hour power reserve, and 15 patented innovations in a classic Lépine layout with the crown positioned at 12 o’clock. The transparent sapphire caseback reveals the movement alongside collaborative Swatch x Audemars Piguet branding and a digitally printed Pop Art design. Included is an 18cm blue calfskin lanyard with orange stitching, secured via a custom Bioceramic clip system.
