Vintage tall champagne glass designed for a famous Swedish warship, Regalskeppet Vasa, which sank on its maiden voyage in Stockholm harbor on August 10, 1628. This particular glass has not been salvaged but has since been copied from the original design. These are exactly the kind of glasses I like because they don't seem overly ornate, yet they have a very sophisticated quality. The shape is light and classic, making the glass easy to use with both old and new tableware. A vintage glass like this adds a more personal touch to the table — without making it feel heavy.
