19th C. Painted Folk Art German Bridal Cupboard

An antique folk art wedding cabinet, from the Swabian Alb region of southern Germany. The cabinet retains its original painted finish with striped decoration typical of the area, along with its original wrought iron hinges and escutcheons. The interior still has its original shelfs and coat hooks, the cabinet locks with the original working key. Old woodworm traces have been treated. A rare piece with great colour and surface.
