Sarracenia leucophylla - Red Form - White Pitcher Plant

Sarracenia leucophylla is widely regarded as the most stunning species of pitcher plant in America. The initial pitchers that appear in the season tend to be slender and delicate compared to the second batch that emerges in late summer. The later pitchers put on a dazzling display, with the upper portion showcasing a nearly pure white colour adorned with intricate veins ranging from green to pink to red to purple. Skill Level: Easy. Form: Red. Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max all day. Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times. Dormancy: New leaves stop forming during the colder months and old leaves will slowly die off. Pot Size 15cm (2L). Please note some Sarracenia are very large in size and leaves will have to be bent or cut down to fit in smaller boxes. Leaves grow quickly so you don't need to worry about losing some. Larger orders mean larger boxes.
