👨🏼🌾 White Wine made by Simon Gastrein. A free, wild Condrieu, which retains the tension of the schist soils instead of giving in to opulence. The Viognier takes on a more vertical form here, with minimal intervention winemaking that allows the wine to breathe without freezing it. The nose opens with white peach, apricot, flowers, with a more mineral, almost stony dimension. The palate is full-bodied, but crossed by a rare freshness for the appellation, with a long, saline, very persistent finish.
