Grains from closed distilleries of Central Scotland representing Living Souls (Irony) and an Aberdeenshire Malt from the late 70s representing Little Brown Dog and the North East of Scotland. The age of the *youngest* stock in this blend – 26th March 1979. 46 years old or about 322 dog years.It’s everything you want from a well-aged whisky, superb balance, that wonderful old tropical note that you only get with very old whiskies, and no cask domination. The low ABV is cask strength, and a naturally low strength gives wonderful concentration of flavour.
