The battery is detachable and allowed for bringing onboard airplanes as carry-on baggage (subject to operator approval). 6AH battery allows up to 10 km of travel. Alternatively you can upgrade to 10AH battery that allows up to 15 km of travel. The batteries can also be charged off-board.
