Customised Length

This option was created primarily for our Overdyed Vintage Range - giving you the same classic Phoenix MOD strap, tailored to your wrist size.All Phoenix MOD straps are produced to the original MOD specification length of 28cm. For decades this has been the standard “one size fits all” configuration and comfortably suits approximately 6¼" – 7½" wrists. However, wrists are not one-size-fits-all. If you sit at either end of the sizing spectrum, a customised length can give a cleaner and more comfortable fit. Wrist Size Guide: 6" Wrist - We would still recommend trying the standard 28cm first. However, if you find the tail excessive, a 27cm version may provide a neater fit. 6¼" – 7½" Wrist - The standard 28cm MOD specification remains the ideal fit for most wearers. 7½" – 9" Wrist (“Big Boy Spec”) - The 31cm XL version is recommended. This provides enough usable tail length to achieve the proper military-style tuck-back without feeling too short or tight. That leaves the 29cm & 30cm not in the size guide, these sizes just come down to sizing preference & how much excess on the strap is desired. Please note that due to the nature of our traditional UK production methods, minor size variation can occur during manufacture. Factors such as: Heat welding of the nylon, Ambient humidity during production, the over-dyeing process used on Vintage Range straps. …can all slightly affect the final finished length. Every effort is made to keep sizing as accurate as possible. A strap listed as 28cm may finish at approximately 27.8cm or 28.2cm. A small tolerance should therefore be expected and accepted as part of the character of the product. Thanks for your understanding.
