Cuban or Guayabera shirts are typically adorned with 2 or 4 pockets and vertical rows of delicately sewn pleats. Made in Japan from a custom leno weave fabric, this specialised textile construction uses adjacent warp threads twisted around one another in a figure-eight pattern to securely lock the weft threads in place. The result is a lightweight yet durable material with an open structure that offers enhanced breathability and distinctive texture.
