Vintage Salt & Pepper Shakers, Hobnail Pattern with Metal Lids, Milk Glass from Fenton #3806, Tableware, Pressed Glass Serveware, (Discontinued) Brand: Fenton Art Glass Co. Made in West Virginia, USA Vintage: 1970's - 1980's Details: These salt and pepper shakers in Fenton's Hobnail pattern #3806 are in absolutely pristine condition! Hobnail was introduced by Fenton Art Glass Company in 1939. This milk glass version was introduced in 1952, however, this very dense/ opaque, bright white version of milk glass is most likely from the 1970's perhaps into the 80's. Not only is the glass is opaque, but the hobnails are smoother than on the older pieces and there is no "ring of fire" visible. These are not marked, they have a pontil mark, they are blown glass, but we know they are genuine Fenton. Perfect for your favorite collector, or as kitchen decor. There is a minor condition issue, please see below. Materials: Milk Glass, Metal Dimensions: Each is approx 3.0 inches Tall and 1.5 inches in Diameter. Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. The glass is in perfect condition, no broken or missing hobnails. The silver metal lids are still shiny, one shows slight corrosion, most likely due to salt. There are no scratches, chips or any other defects on either piece. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
