Where it’s from: Cut from the shoulder area of the cow, chuck steak is known for its deep beef flavor and great marbling. Our larger cuts stay juicy and tender when cooked properly. What to use it for: Grilling, smoking, marinating, sliced steak dinners, steak sandwiches, or slow cooking for fall-apart tender beef. Cook: Best cooked hot and fast to medium rare with a good rest before slicing, or low and slow for a more tender texture.
