The swallow has long been a symbol of safe return. Sailors once had them tattooed as a promise that they would find their way home. Worn here in miniature, in recycled sterling silver or 18ct gold plate, they carry that same quiet meaning. Each earring features a hand-crafted swallow in flight with a single freshwater pearl drop, suspended from a delicate hook. Handmade in my cottage workshop in rural England.
