First Round is built for people who’ve never trained before and want to learn something real. You’ll get seriously fit in the process, but this isn’t just a workout. You’ll leave with skills, confidence and a reason to keep coming back. What am I getting? 5 weeks of structured beginner Muay Thai and boxing. Every session runs for one hour. You’ll start from the foundations (footwork, stance, basic strikes) and build from there. By week five you’ll be moving, hitting and thinking like a martial artist. Your week includes: Boxing classes: the fundamentals of the sweet science. Muay Thai classes: strikes, kicks, elbows and knees broken down step by step. Fight Camp Conditioning: our Saturday morning circuit class. Intense, effective and the same session our competitive fighters use to build their engine. Train up to 4 sessions per week. Day and evening classes available. Fit training around your life, not the other way around. Who’s coaching me? Our coaching team has spent decades in Muay Thai and boxing, competing at Scottish, British and European level, training in Thailand and fighting on world stages. But titles aren’t the whole story. Every coach at EDA knows how to bring a complete beginner in properly. You’ll be in good hands from session one. What does a typical week look like? We run classes during the day and in the evening to give you maximum flexibility. Train up to 4 times a week and choose the sessions that work for your schedule. No. First Round is capped at 15 people, all starting from scratch at the same time. You’ll train in our main gym alongside our regular members, but you won’t be thrown in at the deep end. You’ll be coached as a group, progressing together from session one. What happens after 5 weeks? If you love it, which most people do, you can continue your journey with our Striking membership and keep training in the same gym, with the same coaches, alongside the same people you started with.
