Babylon

Under the scorching sun, Babylon stands in all its splendour. The ziggurats pierce the sky, and the Ishtar Gate, of a deep blue adorned with lions, dragons and the sacred Mushussu, opens to the Hanging Gardens that overflow with green life atop imposing walls. Bergamot and mate leaves exhale freshness, whilst leather, cedarwood and guaiac wood frame the solemnity, and patchouli envelops it in a timeless depth.
