WORKERS_S806XXE_Buckle Back WWⅡ-JACKET_T-Back
WORKERS' new 13.7-9oz denim, their first in about 10 years. For more on the sulfur dye theory in wartime denim, see here... https://eworkers.blogspot.com/2026/02/workerss801s806.html Inspired by the detection of sulfur in wartime denim, we created a "deep black" colored denim by applying sulfur black at the end of the pure indigo dyeing process. The yarn is WORKERS' custom-made #7, US Pima cotton from EMOT (Eastern Memphis Orleans). Originally, we only commissioned Kaihara for dyeing, but from this time, we also commissioned Kaihara for weaving. The selvedge of the regular 801 uses 100% pure indigo with blue ears, while this indigo-sulfur version has red ears. The fabric's thread count is the same as the previous 801 fabric, but the weaving tension is different, so it feels a little rougher and stiffer than before. At first, you might think it's "black denim?" because of its darkness, but the color will definitely fade. We are currently creating fade samples, so please wait a little longer. The specifications include four buttons and a buckle. The buttons have laurel wreaths and a wartime style, but the rivets are engraved with WORKERS' logo on both top and bottom, so it's more about the overall atmosphere being inspired by wartime models rather than a specific individual. Above is an excerpt from the official WORKERS website. This is indeed a T-back 46-size wartime model. Jeans that can be worn as a set-up will also be released in the future.
