Katï Coffee’s Production Calibration & Profile Development process is designed to establish repeatable, production-ready roast profiles tailored to your coffee and intended use case. What’s Included 1. Green Coffee Evaluation Each profile development begins with evaluation of the supplied green coffee, including visual inspection and moisture, density, and water activity measurements These observations help establish appropriate production strategy and roast approach. 2. Sample Roast Iterations Each production profile setup includes: up to two sample roast iterations per profile roast evaluation and adjustment production behavior analysis Sample roasts are developed on scale up roaster (Arc800). 3. Cupping & Sensory Evaluation Collaborative evaluation sessions to review: flavor balance sweetness acidity body finish roast development Collaborative cupping sessions help finalize approval targets for production. 4. Production Profile Development Following approval, a finalized production profile is established including: target development characteristics production reference standards roast workflow documentation batch consistency targets Approved production profiles become the operational baseline for future production scale roasting (Probat P12). 5. Quality Control & Production Metrics Katï Coffee maintains internal production records and quality control references to support consistency across production runs. QC references may include: roast color tracking roast time and development references batch logging profile consistency checks Select production information may be shared with clients upon request. Green Coffee Requirements Clients shall provide approximately 5 lbs of green coffee per production profile. Additional quantities may be recommended depending on: coffee behavior roast complexity intended application requested revisions Unused green coffee from profile development will be returned to Client where practical. NB: pricing is quoted per production profile (one time). Additional modifications to the profile may incur additional costs
