Enjoy the rich, natural flavour of our traditionally dry-cured, smoked streaky bacon. Handcut at a hearty thickness, our bacon is made from our free-range pork following our very own recipe and procedure to create pure bacon, completely free of nitrites and nitrates. Using a simple cure of natural sea salt and muscovado sugar, our butchers follow a process that takes more time, skill, and judgement to perfect, but creates bacon that’s more natural and pure, without the additives used for colour, flavour, or shelf life. Once dried and before slicing, this bacon is then left to smoked overnight over beechwood before slicing. The gentle smoke imparts a subtle sweetness and savoury depth, creating a rich aroma and a beautifully balanced taste without overpowering the meat. Here, the flavour comes purely from the pork itself, the quality of the meat, the breed, and how it’s raised. You taste the difference: clean, rich, and smoked. No artificial smoke flavouring.
