Handsome English Oak Glazed Bookcase Cabinet C1920

We have a highly appealing 2 door glazed English bookcase possessing a pleasing on the eye classic period design and of good quality. The ball feet and well sized plinth support a 2 door arrangement with attractive oak frames to both doors. We have a working lock and key, always a nice bonus. Inside there are 2 adjustable solid oak shelves original to the bookcase. Condition is good with a pleasing tone and grain to the solid oak and light sensible aging having enjoyed a careful repolish in our workshop which has enhanced and highlighted the tone and grains to the English oak. Overall it’s weighty, sturdy and sitting firm. Altogether a fine looking piece. A classic piece of late 1920s oak furniture for home or commercial use.
