Extendable table from Bob & Dries Van Den Berghe-Pauvers, 1976

Designed by Belgian father-and-son duo Bob and Dries Van Den Berghe, the Cirkante table reflects their distinctive approach to furniture design and craftsmanship. The name Cirkante refers to the circular and curved elements subtly incorporated into its design. The table features a striking geometric form that transforms from a square into an octagonal tabletop, accommodating up to eight people. A square granite insert at the centre adds a contrasting material detail. With its bold silhouette and geometric character, the Cirkante table is a distinctive example of Postmodern design. This pre-loved table is in good condition and pairs beautifully with the Iris chairs.
