Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 FFP HD 6-24x50 Riflescope (APRS14 or APRS15 MIL Reticle)

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 FFP HD 6-24x50 Riflescope (APRS14 or APRS15 MIL Reticle) is a serious long-range riflescope that combines clear HD optics, dependable mechanical adjustment and a practical first focal plane MIL system. The Midas Tactical line has been one of Athlon's most popular riflescope ranges since its introduction, and the Gen2 HD builds on that platform with upgraded optical performance, refined styling and a robust construction designed for real-world hunting, long-range shooting and competition use. The 6-24x magnification range provides plenty of reach for longer-distance shooting while remaining versatile enough for a wide range of field applications. Athlon's HD glass uses low-dispersion lenses to produce a brighter, sharper image, while Advanced Fully Multi-Coated optics improve light transmission and deliver natural, true-to-life colour across the visible spectrum. The 50mm objective provides strong light-gathering performance without the additional bulk of a larger objective. At the heart of the Midas TAC Gen2 HD is a first focal plane MIL reticle, which scales with magnification so its subtensions remain accurate throughout the entire zoom range. The scope is available with either the APRS14 or APRS15 FFP MIL reticle, giving shooters a choice of reticle layout while retaining the same MIL-based adjustment system. Long-range adjustments are handled by an exposed elevation turret with Athlon's Precision Zero Stop. Once zeroed, the system provides a positive mechanical stop for quickly returning to your original zero after dialling for distance. Adjustments are made in precise 0.1 MIL clicks with 10 MIL available per revolution, while the capped windage turret is protected against unintended movement in the field. Side-focus parallax adjustment from approximately 9m to infinity allows the image and parallax to be precisely corrected across a broad range of shooting distances. The internal High Precision Erector System is housed within a one-piece 30mm aircraft-grade aluminium tube for strength and reliable adjustment. The scope is argon purged and built to be waterproof, fog proof and shockproof, while Athlon's XPL coating protects the exterior lenses against dirt, oil and demanding conditions. The result is a well-equipped long-range scope that delivers the optical and mechanical features serious shooters need without unnecessary complexity.
