The nose on this elegant Junmai is a collection of roasted rice, grains, nuts, leather and hint of citrus aromas. Behold a very complex yet drinkable Junmai that is supremely smooth but loaded with semi-rich flavors on many levels. Very gentle this silky brew has hints of nougat, cocoa, roasted rice, and tingle of caramel. But rice is the main vein of this smooth and grainy sake that is medium-bodied and very drinkable. It is rich, but more like a rich-light, which makes it all the more appealing for a second glass. A mid-sized glass makes more body, and a smaller glass brings out more rich sweetness.
