Bransylvania Vampire's Aura White Wine

This wine is from Domeniile Averesti from it's Diamond Selection which is a premium wine collection dedicated to Romanian grape varieties that have found their finest expression in the terroir of Averesti. Zghihara, Busuioaca (vinified as dry, medium-sweet rose and dry white wine) and Feteasca Neagra have been carefully selected and crafted in Averesti’s modern style, sharing our joy for life with wine lovers everywhere. Grape harvest The grapes were carefully hand-harvested from selected vineyard plots in the morning, before 10 am, at a sugar content of 210 g/L. Winemaking To produce the white-vinified Busuioaca (which is a rose grape), the entire winemaking process was carried out at low temperatures. The freshly harvested grapes were covered with dry ice to lower their temperature and then kept chilled for 12 hours at 0–1°C. The grapes were pressed whole for a very short period. The wine philosophy Averesti is the key word that distinguishes not just any Busuioaca, but the original expression of this variety, recognised by wine experts and enthusiasts for decades — some even say centuries. Here, Busuioaca grapes have found the ideal soil and climatic conditions to express their flavours and aromas in a unique way, often imitated but never matched. It was here in Averesti that we first perfected a white-vinified Busuioaca in Romania. Tasting notes Bransylvania Vampire's Aura is a white-vinified premium wine with exotic fruit aromas of passion fruit, papaya and melon are enveloped in fresh green basil. On the palate, green basil takes centre stage, captivating with its firm structure, pleasant acidity and long-lasting finish.
