Overview The 2017 Norco Optic is a carbon fiber mountain bike designed for trail riding. Front travel is 130 mm with a RockShox Pike RC Solo Air fork, and rear travel is 120 mm with a Fox Float DPS Performance EVOL rear shock. Drivetrain The mechanical 12-speed drivetrain is a SRAM XX1 Eagle groupset with a SRAM X01 Eagle rear derailleur, SRAM X01 Eagle shifters, and a SRAM GX Eagle chain. Gearing consists of a 32T chainring on a 175mm SRAM Eagle Carbon crankset and a 12-speed SRAM Eagle XX1 500% Gold cassette suited for steep climbs. Brakes are Magura hydraulic disc brakes.
