Velatura Alabaster Flush Mount | Brass & Silver | CLVE4016

The Velatura sets a disc of natural alabaster in sculptural metal bands, 53.3 cm (21") wide and 12.7 cm (5") deep, on a 30.5 cm (12") canopy. Lit, the cloudlike veining moves across the stone and the bands give the rounded shape a crisp edge. The alabaster Natural stone, so veining, colour and translucency differ on every piece. Two Velaturas side by side will not match, which is the point of using stone. Choosing a finish Brass gives a warm accent against timber and plaster; silver stays cool and reflective in a paler scheme. Where it belongs Bedrooms, hallways and entrances with standard ceilings, where a chandelier would hang too low. In a corridor, repeat it at even spacing.
