St Andrews Beach Brewery Sun Dancer Hazy IPA Can 375ml

“Juicy Hazy IPA with pineapple, passionfruit, stone fruit and a soft tropical finish.” St Andrews Beach Brewery Sun Dancer Hazy IPA is big on tropical fruit, soft on the palate and exactly what you want from a modern Australian Hazy IPA. Pineapple and passionfruit lead the way, followed by ripe stone fruit and subtle berry notes. The palate is juicy and rounded, with a soft, smooth texture that carries all that fruit without becoming heavy. At 6.2% ABV, there is plenty of flavour and strength, but the overall feel stays fresh and very drinkable. This is a great pick for anyone who likes their IPA aromatic and juicy rather than aggressively bitter. The tropical fruit does most of the talking, while the softer texture keeps everything nicely balanced. Tasting Notes Aroma: Pineapple, passionfruit, ripe stone fruit and subtle berry notes. Palate: Juicy and smooth with tropical fruit, soft citrus and a rounded, creamy feel. Finish: Fresh and fruity with lingering passionfruit, pineapple and restrained bitterness. About The Brewery St Andrews Beach Brewery is based in Fingal on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, operating from a former racehorse training property that has given the brewery much of its racing inspired identity. Sun Dancer is part of the brewery’s current core range and takes a distinctly Australian approach to Hazy IPA. It uses Australian hops to build its tropical fruit character, with pineapple and passionfruit sitting front and centre alongside softer stone fruit and berry notes. It is bold enough for IPA drinkers, but soft enough that you do not need to prepare yourself for a mouthful of bitterness first. A very sensible arrangement.
