The longest rifle in the Prime bundle range, built around the Daniel Defense® SA-P28 Prime RIS III 12.5" with the Aster II ETU. Everything a player needs on day one is here, because at this level nobody wants to reorder three times before the rifle is usable. The extra two inches of barrel over an MK18 are not cosmetic: the longer RIS III rail gives more room for accessories and the added barrel length helps at distance, at the cost of being harder to handle in tight spaces. It runs around 420 FPS. The Aster II is a programmable trigger unit rather than a simple switch, with burst modes, pre-cocking and active braking configured from the trigger itself. Power is doubled and deliberately asymmetric. The EASY set covers the balance charger and an 11.1V 1000 mAh pack; a 1300 mAh Module 3 battery is added on top. One is the compact spare, the other gets you through a long game without thought. Transport is the 100 cm hard case, not the 85 cm used on the shorter bundles. At 12.5" this rifle does not fit the smaller shell with the stock extended, and a case you have to fight is a case you stop using. Magazines are fixed rather than optional, and they are mid-caps. At this level the hi-cap is the wrong tool: it rattles when you move and has to be wound. Five 125-round S-Mags is what the platform is designed around. The optic is yours to choose, and the four options are genuinely different instruments: a 3-9x32 AOIR for distance, a RedFiber 4x32 for a fixed and fast sight picture, a 1.2-6x24 IR for variable engagement ranges, and a 1-6x24 IR SFP when one rifle has to cover the widest usable range. The tracer unit is optional and comes with its ammunition or not at all. A Smoky BT Compact without tracer BBs is an expensive suppressor and nothing more, so the option combines the two: no tracer unit, or the Smoky BT together with 1 kg of EDGE ULTRA BIO tracer BBs from 0.20 g to 0.32 g. At 420 FPS the 0.30 g is the sensible default; heavier suits longer shots once the hop is set, lighter only where the field caps energy.
