Rather than merely documenting a social condition, Lucinete seeks to portray the everyday lives of the people encountered. It is a simple narrative, woven from the small gestures, affections, hopes, and the fragilities that make up the life of a community. It is a reflection on growing up, absence, and the forms of resistance that emerge in everyday life. This fanzine is part of the “And Other Chapters” series. “And Other Chapters” is a series of Cesura Publish dedicated to showcasing the work of Cesura’s mentees through limited-edition experimental publications.
