Made from carbon steel with a sharp cutting edge, they are designed to punch clean, round holes in leather while providing good edge retention and enough strength to help resist chipping during normal use. The threaded design allows a worn, damaged, or dull tube to be replaced without replacing the entire rotary punch. Simply remove the old tube and install the matching replacement size. Keeping a sharp tube in the tool makes a noticeable difference in how cleanly it cuts and how much hand pressure is needed. We carry six replacement sizes: Smaller tubes work well for stitching holes, small hardware, and fine straps, while the larger sizes are useful for belts, buckles, snaps, rivets, and other hardware that requires a larger opening. Please Note: These punch tubes have sharp cutting edges. Use care when installing or handling them, and keep the cutting edge away from fingers. Replace tubes that become damaged or too dull to produce a clean hole.
