IH-666S-21od 21oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo Overdyed Black

The 666 fit is Iron Heart's slim straight cut jean. This version is made from a rope dyed indigo warp, natural weft 21oz Japanese selvedge denim that has a surprisingly soft hand for such a hefty fabric. With traditional denim details like contrast stitching, hidden rivets, and a classic red selvedge ticker, the IH-666S-21 is the perfect straight fit jean if you're looking for the classic mid-rise, slim-but-not-too-slim look. This version of Iron Heart's overdyed indigo version, where the finished garment is is steeped in a black dye using a direct dye process. This stains the indigo denim and stitching, with the added benefit of removing all shrinkage from the fabric. A unique middle ground between Iron Heart's traditional indigo and black denims, over time the fabric will gradually fade with blue-tinged hues in high-wear areas. Please note that previous versions of these jeans were overdyed using sulphur dye. Due to the environmental impact of sulphur dyes, we have decided to switch to a direct dyeing process when overdyeing our heavyweight denims. The only noticeable difference is that this new process does not oxidise the brass hardware as previously. You can still expect these jeans to age and fade similarly to older models.
