Three foundational movements. Built by a clinician who spent ten years listening to women. You already know how to move your body. You have learned technique. You understand what it means to work a muscle and let it recover, and you have felt what changes when you keep showing up for something. And then it stops at your neck. The face has muscles like everywhere else. They hold tension all day, they get tight, and they respond to being worked and released the same way the rest of you does. Most of us have simply never been taught to touch them on purpose. What this is Three movements. The neck, the brow, the mouth. That is the whole foundation. I will not tell you this reverses anything. I won't say it turns back time. What I will tell you is what you are actually doing. You are stretching the muscles in your face. You are toning them. You are building strength, the same way you would anywhere else in your body. First you learn where you hold. Most women are holding in the jaw and do not know it until somebody asks. Some of that is from the day you just had. Some of it has been there a great deal longer. Then you learn how to put it down. How long it takes Five minutes on a night you have five minutes. Ninety seconds on a night you do not. Both of those count, and the short ones count for more than people think. You are not doing it alone There is a private group of women working through exactly this practice, and it comes with it. Nobody is required to post anything. Some women share, most read, and both are fine. If this feels silly Most of the time when we do new things, it's silly. Just take a deep breath. Remember we are stretching muscles in our face and toning muscles in our face. Lean into being proud of the fact that you are increasing volume in your cheeks and toning your forehead to build strength, so that you can reflect to the world a face that you feel like yourself in. What this is not This is not therapy, and I am not your clinician. I worked as a therapist for ten years, so I know the difference. This is a practice for your face. Sometimes a practice for the body moves something that has nothing to do with the body. If what comes up feels bigger than a practice can hold, that is worth taking to someone whose work is to sit with you while you look at it. That is not this failing you. That is you taking yourself seriously.
