Learn to make heirloom-quality hooked rugs with local artist Kori- it’s a fun, easy, creative and social art! There is a supportive community of creative rug hookers all around us in Oregon & Washington! Learn time-tested tips to transfer patterns, choose materials & colors, hook loops, design your own rug, learn a bit of history, connect with the community, let your creative spirit run free, and more. Some materials included- class includes the use of a frame, scissors, and cutter during class time- you will want scissors and a quilting hoop to finish on your own later. Wool fabric and some wool yarn included- please bring your own yarn scraps to supplement, or plan to purchase at Starlight! Instructor: Kori Brooks Finished rug is approx 12x12.
