Overview The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15500ST was introduced in 2019 to succeed the 15400, recalibrating the 41mm Royal Oak with a new movement while keeping the “Grammar of Design” Gérald Genta established in 1972. It carries the AP monogram at 12 o’clock, which its successor, the 15510ST, dropped in favour of the full Audemars Piguet name; many collectors now view the 15500ST as the last classic iteration of the modern 41mm Royal Oak. The 41mm stainless steel case carries the octagonal bezel secured by eight hexagonal screws, with vertical satin-brushing set against polished chamfers. The integrated bracelet tapers to the wrist. The silver-toned Grande Tapisserie dial has the square-blocked guilloché pattern, with luminescent white gold indices and the AP monogram at 12. The movement is Calibre 4302: automatic, 4Hz, with a 70-hour power reserve that allows the watch to rest over a weekend. It is visible through the sapphire caseback, with a 22k gold rotor and Côtes de Genève finishing.
