Four Fifths

Four Fifths is a string sample library focused on aggressive, folk-inspired rhythmic playing and sampled double-stops. Featuring four instruments, double bass, basy (3-string folk bass), cello and fiddle, it offers a distinctive collection of sounds for folk music, cinematic scoring and experimental compositions. Each instrument includes six playing techniques: short, medium and long double-stops, alongside short, medium and long single notes. These provide a flexible range of articulations for creating rhythmic patterns, layered arrangements and expressive string performances. Please note: Requires the free Plogue Sforzando sampler, which works on 64-bit Windows and Mac systems, 4 GB RAM, and an SSD.
